Brown: Bad Luck or Ineffective Leadership?
It might be Friday the 13th, but Jim Renacci’s luck keeps getting better. The same can’t be said for Sherrod Brown. NBC, Fox News, and CNN are just a few outlets seriously doubtful of his chances of winning this year, calling the race a “tough reelection contest,” questioning if he’s “too liberal” for Ohio, and deeming the race “worth watching.” Let’s not forget, just this week Politico released a survey showing Jim and Brown neck and neck in a General Election match up, at 40% and 41% respectively.
“Brown’s vulnerability in the Senate race has nothing to do with bad luck and everything to do with his nearly 12 years of ineffective leadership. This week alone Jim locked-in three huge endorsements, including the NRA’s. It comes as no surprise that Jim—the only conservative candidate in this race who can win—continues to surge in the polls,” said Brittany Martinez, Renacci for Senate Communications Director.
