Wadsworth, OHRepublican Gubernatorial candidate Jim Renacci today slammed Mike DeWine in the wake of news that Ohio workers are poised for even more layoffs under DeWine’s collapsing JobsOhio program.

Nearly 200 Ohio workers will work their final day for their company on New Year's Eve.

“DeWine’s JobsOhio program is a disgraceful disaster for Ohio workers and businesses.  Ohio’s unemployment rate is higher than the national average, and Ohio’s labor force participation rate is lower than the national average. The fact that Mike DeWine continues to double down on failed programs like JobsOhio is just one more reason that it’s time for him to go,” Jim Renacci said.

“As someone who created thousands of jobs across our state, as Governor I will be laser focused on advancing policies that foster the job growth and economic expansion Ohioans need and deserve.”
