Jim Renacci again asks DeWine to condemn child abuse from mask mandates for schools across Ohio

Just days after Jim Renacci called for Mike DeWine to end the push for mandatory school masking, calling it Child Abuse, school systems around the state are already rolling out orders requiring all day masking for children. Reports are in that Cincinnati Public Schools and Highland Local Schools in Medina County have already notified parents that all day masking is in effect for the return of school after the Christmas break.

“Ohio’s students are now entering the third year in an education climate that is not conducive to learning. It’s a climate that fosters fear, not education and is causing irreparable harm to our kids,” Jim Renacci said.

“It’s clear that Ohio families and children can’t rely on Mike DeWine to end this insanity, but as Governor, I will.
