JIM RENACCI STATEMENT ON MIKE DEWINE’S PRO ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION RECORD

Cleveland, OH – Former congressman and candidate for governor Jim Renacci released the following statement on Mike DeWine’s disingenuous trip to the border: 

“After close to 40 years as a career politician who supported amnesty, Mike DeWine is now covering up his pro-illegal immigration past by trying to fool everyone with a trip to the border. When he was in the U.S. Senate, DeWine voted alongside Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for a pathway to citizenship, essentially granting amnesty to 7 million illegals. When DeWine had a chance to actually lead on securing our border and help end illegal immigration, he folded and caved by siding with liberals. We know he is not a Republican. He is worse than a RINO. He is a full-fledged Democrat willing to sell out our country. DeWine is another corrupt politician who will say one thing but do the opposite. Do not let him fool you.”
