Medicaid Audit Uncovers More DeWine Corruption and Missing Taxpayer Money, Renacci says “No More of DeWine’s Garbage Politics.”

Wadsworth, OH - Republican gubernatorial candidate Jim Renacci is outraged that $118 million in taxpayer money is unaccounted for in Ohio's Medicaid system, and questions why anyone would want more of DeWine’s incompetence and deceit. A new audit report uncovered “a significant number of payments that went unidentified and were not recouped."

A similar audit from last year found that Ohio paid more than $3.8 BILLION in fraudulent or mistaken payments from April 2020 to June 2021.

"The DeWine administration knew Ohio's unemployment system was vulnerable but did NOTHING," Renacci tweeted at the time. "$3.8 billion dollars of fraud and errors later, the taxpayers of Ohio are still on the hook for Mike DeWine's failure."

DeWine's Administration has also been plagued by the FirstEnergy bribery scandal, which has crept closer into DeWine's inner circle in recent weeks.
