POLL: Renacci Strongest General Election Candidate in Ohio Governor’s Race

New polling confirms Jim Renacci isn't just on course to win the Republican primary - he is the strongest candidate in the general election as well.

A new Harris poll released last week finds Republican Jim Renacci defeating Democrat John Cranley by 10 points in a general election matchup in November. Meanwhile, Mike DeWine is so unpopular that he is within the margin of error of LOSING to a Democrat!

That same poll found Renacci ahead of Mike DeWine in the primary election in May, which matches with polling by Trump pollster Tony Fabrizio which found Renacci leading DeWine by eight points and polling by PPP which found DeWine winning just 38% of Republican primary voters.

Renacci's campaign manager Brad Parscale released the following statement:

"A vote for pro-Trump Jim Renacci isn't just a vote to put an end to Mike DeWine's RINO political career. Renacci is Ohio Republicans' best chance at turning out Republican voters and stopping a Leftist Democrat from winning the governor's race in November.
