Statement on Cuyahoga County Republican Party Endorsement

This morning, the Cuyahoga County Republican Party voted to endorse conservative career businessman Jim Renacci over incumbent Governor Mike DeWine--marking yet another blow to DeWine's flailing campaign.  By a wide margin, 124 to 73, the joint executive and central committees overwhelmingly endorsed Jim Renacci and the committed conservative leadership he will deliver as Ohio's next Governor. 

 

"Our campaign to deliver accountable conservative leadership to Ohio continues to surge and we are thrilled to have the support and endorsement of the Cuyahoga County Republican Party. The establishment is fading and the largest republican voting block in the state wants change. I am that change, and as Governor I'll help revive our state and make Ohio a powerhouse once again," Renacci said.
