I moved to Ohio 36 years ago with the realization that Ohio was the place you could live the American Dream. And Ohio gave me that opportunity. Now it’s time to make sure Ohio is welcoming the next generation to live that same dream. My path as a career businessman, United States Congressman, and United States Senate candidate gave me the ability to meet so many others committed to a better Ohio.
Too often I found those individuals and business leaders felt Ohio needed policy initiatives and action that will allow our State to compete in our ever changing nation . Common sense ideas, like those I implemented while operating my 60 plus businesses. Processes and institutions that put everyday Ohioans first. Together we can make that happen.
That is why I am proud to Chair Ohio’s Future Foundation, a policy and action oriented organization who’s goal is to move Ohio forward . Our goal is to support and empower businesses, grassroots and faith-based organizations, and individuals to listen, learn and lead Ohio into a brighter future.

Marrying his childhood sweetheart Tina, Jim started implementing his entrepreneurial vision of owning a small business, providing jobs and livelihoods for local families. As can only happen in America, the Ohioan entrepreneur soon laid claim to operating over 60 businesses, creating 1,500 new jobs, employing over 3,000 people statewide.
Washington is broken. The problems we face are so vast and our disagreements so great, that I don’t think Washington can be fixed right now.
We’re gearing up for a critical year. From political polarization to a national fiscal state that’s truly out of control, the challenges we face are extreme and
Jim Renacci and Ohio’s Future Foundation commissioned the production of a new economic report on Ohio’s diminished place in the US Economy. The report was
