Renacci Fundraising Figures
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
RENACCI CAMPAIGN BRINGS IN OVER $4.5 MILLION
AND REPORTS $4.2 MILLION CASH ON HAND AS OF APRIL 1
Wadsworth, Ohio—Today, Republican U.S. Senate candidate Jim Renacci released his fundraising totals covering the 10-week period between his entry into the race in mid-January and the end of March. The campaign reported slightly over $4.5 million in receipts and a cash-on-hand total of $4.2 million as of March 31. The fundraising figures are comprised of contributions from donors, including the candidate, to Renacci for Senate and the Renacci for Ohio Victory Fund—a joint fundraising committee. Renacci didn’t enter the Senate race or begin assembling a campaign team until mid-January, which is why his initial report does not reflect totals covering an entire quarterly fundraising period.
“Since entering the U.S. Senate race, I’ve been humbled and energized by the wave of support from voters and conservative leaders across Ohio who have rapidly mobilized behind our campaign to restore Ohio’s values to this seat in the United States Senate. And while it’s clear that the far left special interests Sherrod Brown represents with his votes in Washington will surely spend heavily as they desperately try to keep their grip on this seat, Ohio simply can’t afford to have its voice silenced for six more years. With so much at stake, I am committed to helping ensure our campaign has the resources it needs to defeat Sherrod Brown in November,” said Jim Renacci.
In the weeks since Renacci entered the race, he’s rapidly racked up crucial endorsements from organizations like Ohio Right to Life, the NRA, and the Ohio Republican Party. And in addition to earning the backing of the White House, Jim has also been endorsed by Ohio’s entire Republican Congressional delegation, Senator Portman, and Josh Mandel.
